2012 - OCEAN PRINCESS - LISBON

View 2012 PRINCESS - CAPE TOWN TO DOVER on hasbeen's travel map.

LISBON

I WAS HERE ONCE BEFORE & TOOK THE TOUR TO SINTRA. I THOUGHT THERE WAS MORE TO IT THAN I HAD SEEN SO I AM GOING TO REPEAT & GO BACK TO TO SEE WHAT I MISSED.

IN THE EVENT, IT LOOKS LIKE I SAW MOST OF IT THE FIRST TIME ALTHOUGH I HAVE STILL NOT BEEN INSIDE ANY OF THE FAIRYTALE-LIKE BUILDINGS.

THE ENTRY INTO LISBON IS VERY NICE.

UNDER THIS BRIDGE WITH WHAT SEEMS TO BE A COPY OF CHRIST THE REDEEMER IN RIO ON THE FAR SHORE.

SINTRA IS NOT TOO FAR AWAY.
IN THE HILLS BEYOND LISBON & HAS THESE WONDERFUL LOOKING BUILDINGS...

AND THAT’S IT FOR PORTUGAL.

GETTING CLOSE TO THE END OF THE CRUISE NOW. ONLY TWO MORE STOPS TO GO.

AND I MAY HAVE JUST REMEMBERED THE BARONESSES NAME - MARIKA.

A VERY STRANGE LADY INDEED.

BY THIS TIME SHE WOULD HAVE LEFT OUR DINNER TABLE.

THE BBC GUY TOO.

I WAS NOT TOO FAR BEHIND.
TOO MUCH LATE DINING IS NOT FOR ME. WE WERE CHATTING SO MUCH, DINNER WAS RARELY DONE BY 9:00 AND MORE OFTEN CLOSE TO TEN -
INDIGESTION TIME.
