2014 - AEGEAN ODYSSEY - EPHESUS, Turkey

View 2014 VOYAGE TO ANTIQUITY - AEGEAN & BLACK SEA on hasbeen's travel map.

The last time I went to Ephesus, it was as the sun went down. Very atmospheric it was too.

This time it is during the day.

We are docked at Izmir, quite a long drive to Ephesus.. Passing what appears to be a a Tuborg brewery - in Turkey. Somewhat of a suprise

We are now inside an area that was no open last time I was here. It is a must see part of the site.

A giant jigsaw puzzle ...

It's all up hill but it gets better the higher we go ...

Nearly outside now, inside the larger theater.

One of the passengers sang a little opera here & got a hearty cheer from the nose-blees seats.
