Not sure what bird this is. I thought at the time it was a Pelican but don't think so now.
Still parked in Izmir, today we head inland .... this lady was on the opposite side of the road to our pee break.
This is small ship cruising but the excursions are pretty much the same as a regular cruise. Thirty some people per bus & they all turn up at the pee break at the same time.
Long long lines for the ladies. Long lines for a drink or snack.
Our destination is - OH NO! An Acropolis but, a cable car. Heaven.
And we are way up high this time ....
Even after getting off the cable car there is still an uphill walk . Why did those people always put this stuff on top of a hill? How did they ever get up there?
But hows that for a Theater?
AMAZING! SAID TO BE THE STEEPEST ANYWHERE. I don't doubt it.
Imagine being an usher here.
Walking with a tray of ices, down hill, backwards.
The guide said we could walk down the theater if we wanted.

The dogs were much easier to spot.

This lady from Bulgaria was a bit nervous in our gondola. She thought there were too many people in it.
She looks ok now ...
Time for lunch. I am still with the Pink group. Should have been purple.
Lunch was good & then off through town ...
More ruins - A health spa now ... Aspendos maybe.
Angela taking it easy. I spent a lot of time with Angela & her husband John. Nice enough couple but hard to get a word in edgewise. Never mind.

Another pee stop. Time for some Pomegranate juice & a shoe shine
That is a cotton field I think.
Another day over. This is hard work. every day a new spot. I like a bit of sea time and a breather.
Not for a few days yet.
Gallipoli next - that should be quiet ..
