2015 MINERVA - HONG KONG TO SINGAPORE

I have docked at Manilla before & the dockside entertainment for arriving cruise ships is among the best in the world .. they really go all out to put on a welcoming show ..
Lots of colour ..
& smiles
We drive not too far away, to Fort Santiago ..
Beautiful flowers in the grounds .. I love lilies .. so photogenic
Lots of school parties .. I am standing away from our tour group & the kids want their photo taken with me so I get theirs too.
The last walk to his martyrdom of the Philippines’ National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.
At the back of the fort there is this lookout over the boats ..
I do not remember what we were visiting here but I did not go in .. I had a coffee and waited for people to come out ..
This lady & her husband were on the Minerva .. from London somewhere.
Back to the ship & the guys & girls are STILL dancing ..
They all seem to enjoy themselves ..
Looking sad to see us leave ..
I think this little girls mother works on the Minerva .. she won't be seeing her mom for months, unless it's on Skype .. . it's a hard life
& that's Manilla . . . a day of rest at sea next.
